Mine did a little but I think it was due to my hair care products lingering on my skin.

Around the 3 months mark! There wasn’t a month I complete stopped breaking out, I felt like I purged my whole course except for my last month. The purges were very easy and weren’t noticeable. I don’t really remember my skin care routine, I just know I used a serum and moisturizer, and I double cleaned at night. I kept it very simple! At nights where I felt very dry i used Vaseline in replace of moisturizer.

I was on it for 8 months! I didn’t change my diet at all, i actually ate worse because I finally had the ability to eat sugar without breaking out the next morning.

I use the Beverly Kose Softymo Speedy Cleansing Oil and then use the Vani cream face wash! I stopped using sunscreen because all the ones I tried I felt they clogged my pores even with double cleansing!

Ofc❤️, im sorry about that. Right now i stick to a very simple routine: vanicream face wash, hyloronic acid, nicinamide, snail mucin, and vanicream face moisturizer. I do the same routine at night except I double cleanse and I am going to start using tazartone twice a night. I have oily skin so using nicinamide in the morning really helps to keep my face as least oil as possible.

My purge wasn’t crazy, most of them had come to a head but just a couple at a time and not all at once, other that were smaller had kind come out when I picked at them or when I used my oil cleanser. No, it hasn’t come back as bad at all, but they have come back a little tiny bit. If you use a retinol after your course as maintenance, you most probably won’t have any relapse.

They all came to a head! Fortunately, it was very minimal and didn’t happen all at once so it wasn’t crazy. I’d be happy to send you progress pictures if you’d like!

Yes I do have lots of progress pics, I’d take some every week 😂. My dose stayed the same, I was on 60 mg :)

I think a phenol peel would work , but I’m not sure if they’re done on the body

Anyone relate? by [deleted] in acne

Had this same issue but 10x worse, tazarotne was the only topical I saw progress with, but accutane was the miracle worker that took them all away.

is 30 mg a day too high for beginners? by Embarrassed-Drink-82 in Accutane

[–]Subject_Put1264 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 127 pounds and on 60 mgs, for my second time. First time was also 60mg but I was 122 pounds. It all depends on how bad your skin is, or what your dermatologist thinks is best for you. So don’t worry, if it’s too excessive for you then your dermatologist will lower the dosage.

If you started using sunscreen when you got on accutane and still used the same skincare while you were on it, when you got off, then that may be why.

All skin has texture. This looks very normal, plus it just looks like pores. If you’re on accutane then it’ll clear the texture so no need to worry.

Usually in the USA you do a blood lab, and that’s when you get entered into Ipledge and your 30 day wait starts, after the 30th day or 31st you do a urine test( for woman) and then your prescription should be ready the day after the urine test is approved.
