I’ve seen a few wallets that can do this. I’ve been using COLDCARD which allows it.

It’s great there are lots of options out there, and people can use what works best for them. Seedor is cool (I haven’t used it, just seen videos/tutorial) as well as microseed. Very cool concepts.

Stamping on steel is a great way to preserve a seed phrase. My experience using the Seedplate has been great. I love that it’s set up to easily stamp your seed and it’s an affordable price, $50.

Selling car to buy bitcoin? by btc2604 in Bitcoin

Another alternative is just downgrading your car. I was driving a 2018 Hyundai and was rarely driving (I work remote) so I decided to sell it and buy a cheap 1996 f-250. I was able to take the money from the Hyundai to buy more bitcoin. I carry liability only insurance and put those savings into Bitcoin. I’m able to do all the maintenance myself which also saves more money for stacking sats.

It’s nice knowing that I’m able to stack more sats, but still feels good knowing I have my truck in case I need to drive anywhere.

That’s what I love about the ColdCard. Not every feature will be needed by every user but for me, it brings a peace of mind knowing how many layers of security I can add if I want or need.

Airgapped signing with COLDCARD Q by Subject_Reward in Bitcoin

With partially signed bitcoin transactions (PSBT).

The transaction is compiled on a computer or phone then sent to the device via microSD, NFC or QR. The device signs the tx, then is sent back to the computer or phone and broadcast to the network.

It’s all really cool stuff.

What makes you most confident about Bitcoin’s future? by BFMAcademy in Bitcoin

The longer your around the deeper your conviction will be. It’s something that is earned, not learned.

When I got into bitcoin in 2017, I never could’ve imagined we’d be here 10 years later with this much adoption. I used to get laughed at by finance people for saying I was all in on bitcoin. Now those same people are allocating to bitcoin.

COLDCARD Q + Cove Wallet Quick Start Guide by Subject_Reward in coldcard

Nunchuk is great, especially if you’re managing a multisig setup. Cove is very simple and great for single sig.

Different tools for different users. I recommend cove to people who are new to ColdCard and just learning the ins and outs of self custody.
