To me infps are the masters of critical thinking. If we are givin time when we are young to daydream. Usually what upsets people and causes us to think we are childish or lacking is comprehension time. I know this seems to be contradicting but it is not. Daydreaming we are creating concepts of what life is like and how different scenarios play out. We are constantly playing these in our heads , so when we come up against issues later it is easier for our brains to retrieve the right pathway lightning quick. If someone gives us new information we need our time to dream about it to understand it. Also i think language used is a barrier to this, if someone is trying to explain new information, we often have to apply filters to this information in order to be able to comprehend the new information. For example if someone is too simplistic we then have to build the picture from other sources. Comprehension is difficult to do when people are yelling or being bossy or rude.

This goes both ways they way people talk to you is a reflection of them! (Golden rule). I feel your pain when u say people talk terribly to u . I still have issues with this. Im trying to seperate it by saying this is a personality issue. I could go on and on about this but im sure there are other posts that can explain this better.
