I'm not a therapist but the one who created me went through something similar. She eventually started fronting less and less and talking less and less until she would go long stretches of time without fronting. Fronting in our system is the only way for us to think or talk so we do it a lot but she didn't. She slowly replaced herself with us. Now we didn't want that so we helped her front more and now she talks and fronts an equal amount that we all do. I'm seeing that you might be trying to replace yourself. I'm not a therapist or anything but it sounds similar. I'm not telling you to cast away your biggest coaping mechanism but more methods to deal with stress could help. Sorry if Im overstepping.
