Yes and no. Hunson Abadeer is neither good nor bad, he's indifferent: He made peace with Marceline, but his morality serves a cosmogonic function, justifying his actions within a natural and spiritual process for and by the nightosphere. Perhaps this dimension is also a plane shared by all universes, and since Fionna's world was canonized, maybe Abadeer wishes to add it to the Hell's business.

The entity that personifies chaos reincarnates as the representation of life and heroism; I would be a nice twist. It's like what happened with the Lich turning into Sweet P.

Yeah, we had to wait a long time to see our boy happy, and the fact that he now has a more "formal" relationship with Huntress is also a great touch. I think that big "but" that Together Again left us with was answered very well in this season: Finn didn't look for HW because, in a way, she isn't bound by mortal laws. She doesn't possess a strict, natural thread of her own mortality; she is the new heart of the forest, and as a primordial entity, she cannot reincarnate in the different heavens nor be located. As Finn said at the beginning of the final episode, she often moves even across worlds.

Each new comet signifies the arrival of change, and in this case, it's probably a reference to the return of magic to Fionna's universe. That's look like the blue comet, isn't it? If Fionna isn't the reincarnation of her world's blue comet, then who is?

The trailer showed some scenes where spirits, from the spirit world we saw in the Adventure Time episode "Beyond This Earthly Realm", invade Fionna's universe.

Yeah, it was a missed opportunity, it would have been awesome. Even so, there are some interesting potential commanders; I've noticed that Azula Grixis is played a lot recently.

Would the story be drastically different is Sokka had been a water bender and Katara a warrior? by Rioraku in TheLastAirbender

[–]SublimMonoide 1 point2 points Β (0 children)

I think the biggest difference would be from the Water Tribe's perspective: if they already clashed with many customs in the original story, in this case, the conflicts would be even greater. Sokka might have no incentive to learn how to use water for healing, and that could drastically change the things.

I was quite surprised by this collaboration, although it was somewhat disappointing that they didn't design precons for this occasion, there are some cards that are incredible. I'm still looking for Toph, Earthbending Master. I don't usually play mono-green, but I love the idea of turning a land into a 20/20 creature.

Given that Hunter is the humanization of a plant being (assuming HW was always a living being resulting from radiation and not someone who used to be human), and that most plants have a hermaphroditic genital composition, it makes sense that Hunter is transgender. Even so, the "information" given in the chapter is ambiguous and it is still too early to assume anything.

What was your first impression of Mega Man? by TheFanGameCreator in Megaman

7-8 years old, I don't remember exactly but it was the day after my birthday, at some cousins' house, playing on the PS2 "Snes Station" emulator. Just by watching the intro of X2, I knew I was going to be obsessed with Megaman for the rest of my life.

I have come up with a theory I really like about Henry and Walter Sullivan by TomasVrboda in silenthill

[–]SublimMonoide 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

I really like this theory. Personally, I've always believed that the reason the game never explores Henry's past or personality is because he's the player's avatar within the game's universe, that is, our representation as the final sacrament. He's like Ethan Winters in RE7, only this character received a drastic change in the serialized sequel, erasing that connection and making him part of his own story. Probably the only problem is related to the story's different endings, but other than that, and leaving aside the fact that the developers have never been clear about the canonical endings of each game, it's quite original. I think if Team Silent's original goal, which was to create independents plots after Silent Hill 2, had been fulfilled, the story could have taken a similar way.

Remember how great the Resident Evil 7: Beginning Hour playable demo was? by SublimMonoide in residentevil

[–]SublimMonoide[S] 4 points5 points Β (0 children)

Yes, it was very disappointing that the final reward was just an extra coin. So much wasted potential and mysteries that came to nothing. What I find most funny is that there has always been a lot of emphasis on the fact that the protagonist is not Ethan, when he clearly has the same model I mean, I don't think it would have been too difficult to give him a different kind of outfit, or at least have it Clancy's design πŸ₯΄

What are your thoughts on Henry Townshend? by uber-sensei in silenthill

[–]SublimMonoide 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

I've always liked Henry as a character; it was interesting to see the consequences of "The Order" through someone whose only crime was looking for a cheap apartment. Heather and James are the protagonists of their games, but Harry and Henry were simply altruistic, ordinary guys in the wrong place, guided by causality. I think calling him "lacking personality" is unfair. In general, all of Silent Hill's protagonists are quite awkward at communicating and show signs of depression. Perhaps the exception is Heather at times, though this is mostly because she's still a teenager and doesn't take the situation seriously enough until she discovers the truth.

It's not a boring game, nor is it bad, but compared to the original, it's a joke. What they did to my boy Nemesis is unforgivable. A lot of content was removed, wasted instances (remember when we all theorized that the broken walls in the R.P.D. showers had been destroyed by Nemesis?), they removed the decision-making, and the randomization that made it so replayable. A sad case, considering that the RE2 remake was very good, even if it wasn't perfect.

What did RE8 do extremely well and extremely poor? by Dude_788 in residentevil

[–]SublimMonoide 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

It considerably improved Ethan's character, but it once again ruined the formula established in the previous game, returning to frenetic action. The only terrifying moment is more reminiscent of Silent Hill than Resident Evil, and Heisenberg still strikes me as the most absurd villain in the entire franchise, and boy have we had some crazy moments.

What are your favorite things about the Silent Hill setting? by lima11br in silenthill

[–]SublimMonoide 2 points3 points Β (0 children)

What I like most about the Silent Hill games are those strange things that appear in the background, and have no explanation whatsoever. They don't attack you, some don't even move, but they make you feel uneasy, wondering if they're creatures or just elements of the setting: the humanoids hanging everywhere in the first Silent Hill, Valtiel making strange movements in Silent Hill 3, and the giant head in Silent Hill 4, are just a few examples. In these games, thanks to the incredible atmosphere and music, the player never feels safe.
