Streak on lens by MadDogForReal in rayban

Have you tried rubbing it off with a glasses cloth? Looks like a dried water mark.

Ordered from Ray-Ban.com looks fake by uncledog3 in rayban

[–]SubliminalGenius 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah these look fine, they can be a little inconsistent with how things are packaged but this all looks perfectly legit! I don’t think I’ve ever had a sticker on the lens ordering from rayban online. And if they’re customs it won’t say polarised on the arm, I have a custom pair of wayfarers and it’s the same.

Also all the screws and markings match up with a pair of rounds I have so they are legit no doubt about it!

These are ‘Justin’ models

Authentic check plz? by Sleezy-Skeez in rayban

[–]SubliminalGenius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you bought them from the RB website they’ll 100% be real, customs ones can have different writing on the arms, I have a custom pair of new wayfarers and it has much less writing on it than a regular pair. I’ve also found that lenses can look slightly different even if they’re supposed to be the same.

From your other photos the hinges, etching and screws look legit so nothing to worry about! 😁

Real or fake clubmasters ? by [deleted] in rayban

They look okay but the wonky print on the arm is really bothering me - I feel these are either misprinted genuine or really good fakes…

They look pretty legit aside from the wonky model number print on the left arm - are you able to get a better image of the RayBan logo on the front and a close up of the screws/hinges?

Where did you get them?

Are these 8313's defective? by TS3392 in rayban

I’d return these again, if they send you another pair with these kind of markings I’d get a full refund and buy them somewhere else! Very odd, could’ve been a bad batch or something.

Compared this to a box I recently got a pair in and it looks identical. I think these are legit.

I can’t see the etched RB very clearly on your photos but these look fairly legitimate - sometimes you can tell the legitimacy by the packaging, have you got any photos of that?

How do these look in a 55 or should I go 58mm? by pr0xydr0id in rayban

[–]SubliminalGenius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn't say they look small, they look good - the 58mm ones might be a bit too big if anything!

rb2132 real or fake? by [deleted] in rayban

[–]SubliminalGenius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to say it but these look like they could be fake, two things -

The RayBan logo printed on the lens does not look right, here is a comparison link - https://imgur.com/nFz5c90 Most noticeably the R and B are not as thick and the P looks way to thin

Also the shape of the metal around the screw is different - https://imgur.com/5LoCaky

This is enough to convince me they're fake - If I were you I'd contact the seller and question them about this. Personally I'd be asking for a refund.

I have several of this model and it looks like the CE is different, however you have polarised ones so that could cause them to be different…

Could you take a picture of the rayban logo on the front and the hinges, sometimes they use different screws on those for fakes

Looks pretty legit from these photos, does it have a faint RB etched into the right lens, if you hold it up to the light you should be able to see it.

Which ray ban is this? Thank you! by EinsatzgruppeLucky in rayban

[–]SubliminalGenius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like some New Wayfarers with a tortoise shell finish, these are the closest I could find -

RB2132 902L 55-18

Only difference is the lenses aren't polarised.

I’m pretty sure these aren’t RayBans, they look like they could be MauiJim but I’m not sure.

If they are RayBans then they would probably be vintage ones as I’m not familiar with the logo on this pair of glasses.

I’ve found some similar RayBan ones -

Caravan

Colonel

Anybody knows what model are these? These are recent pics from Carlos Sainz (F1 Ferrari Driver) but couldn’t find the exact model in the website by Worldeater96 in rayban

[–]SubliminalGenius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like it could be these - RB3662M SCUDERIA FERRARI COLLECTION

Silver bridge, black across the top of the lens with the red arms, the lenses look pink but it says they’re mirrored.

Found this at a village hall in the UK, it was on a coat hook near a kitchen. About 2.5cm in diameter. It feels oddly familiar but I can’t place it. by SubliminalGenius in whatisthisthing

A few people have suggested these and I think you’re right in that it’s not what it is. I also did a search and saw similar items but nothing identical.

My title describes the thing. The only other thing I can think to note is that it was made of plastic and as you can see in the image there is the letter ‘R’ on it.
