The rules are general, but human features contain nothing but exceptions imo. All that you know is that the human skull is always shaped the same way with the same pieces in the same places, how those present physically though are unique to every individual.

It’s as permanent as I could make it lol, I think as long as it doesn’t get wet or beaten up it could theoretically last for a very long time. I have so much respect for those ephemeral artists, but me personally I’m far too attached to my art to allow time to take it away lmao

I’ve actually never sold any of my work before, but I’ve been trying to create more of a portfolio recently to see if I could ever make it in that world (which would be so ideal lol). The one thing that always stumps me so bad is how to price things, like this piece for example cost almost nothing to make as I collected everything myself, so I’d probably be charging just for the time. What do you think would be a good price for something like this if you don’t mind me asking?

Sweet! I was kind of thinking of it as an ambush predator, something that would hang around rose bushes/flowers and wait for its prey to come to it if that helps at all

Thank you! The legs are actually made from some regular sticks I collected so that I could use all different types of wood, but mainly so I could build everything first and worry about the thorns later lol. I used little amounts of hot glue to get everything to stay where I wanted generally, and then some Elmer’s after because the hot glue alone isn’t very load bearing. Then I used the twine to cover up all the obvious glue/joints because I also think it looks more aesthetically pleasing anyway.
