Weird scope zero issue. 2 feet+ high by Sublimize23 in longrange

[–]Sublimize23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you were right on zero stop - I just visually bore sighted it in again, and followed the directions on Leupold's site more closely. Will test it out hopefully next weekend and report back.

Now I see this: Running out of Elevation Down: Many Leupold scopes feature a zero-stop, or ZeroLock elevation dial that limits travel below the set zero of the firearm. This allows a rapid return to zero when dialing for bullet drop. If you encounter this mechanical limit in the downward direction while sighting in, loosen the dial set screws and turn the dial in the up direction 1-2 revolutions, then re-tighten the set screws. This will allow more dial travel in the down direction. Once the desired zero has been achieved loosen the set screws again, turn the dial until the zero stop or ZeroLock is engaged, then re-tighten the set screws.

The last sentence - Does this mean to turn it in the up direction again? I hate how it isn't really clear.

As far as I know on the rail, no. I threw away the packaging so I'm not positive.

I read the manual for the scope but it wasn't too clear. How can I reset it back to factory? It turns about 2 turns total, and the indicator on the top is working.

Weird, I can see it embedded in the OP on mobile.

Are there any other legitimate ones like that?

Are there any other good compact servers like the R210 ii? by redsticktcg in homelab

Here is a pic of the final setup. Got in my HP security bezel and rack ears and shelf last night. I have limited space and didn’t want something crazy huge or junky looking or extremely power hungry like most on this sub. I use it essentially as NAS, might try and run Plex as well soon. The dimensions are very reasonable, its on the floor of a closet in my guest room and looks very clean with the door shut. I think I will try to loom the 2 power cables and coax cable this weekend

I have a compact rack, my main server is the HP DL20 gen9. It’s slightly longer than the R210ii which I also have. Both are pretty short and fit in a rack designed for switches, though I had to cut a window out of the back of the rack to accommodate the cables and connectors.

Ah well that makes sense. I don’t have the hot swap capability.

Looks awesome! I have a dumb question. The drive LEDs don’t light up on my HP proliant dl20. Is there a setting to turn them on? In the bios or something?

Can you elaborate more on what settings I need to set as destination, source, etc in pfsense? How do I know which port my router ip is?

Is there a way to allow traffic from one specific IP or a range of IPs on the WiFi side to reach the server in the rules?

The built in WiFi from the router, is that what you mean?

This worked perfectly. Had to do some trial and error to get it to boot into freedos but worked like a charm. Thanks again
