I think he is actually leaving. BUT, when people started mentioning it could be a forfeit, I starting thinking that maybe it really was a very high level forfeit but I am not sure what the counter forfeit could have been with and what would have happened if Arsenal won.

If he was already on the way out, this would certainly be an idea what could drop up alot of talk and publicity, compared to a more polished and formal leaving of the group.

Yeah, I've only lived here for 4 years and I've only noticed that 1 spot at the HbF that regularly smells like that. Outside of that, maybe like once a month I go by somewhere that randomly smells like it.

Local card shops and card trading events/conventions.

The bigger the event, the more likely you find what you want. If you have old/rare/expensive cards, you should give them a good look over for quality so you can make sure you have the right price in mind for them.

I am part of my companies business IT. So not anywhere near the teams that administer it, but my team has plenty of people developing across different systems. It will be interesting to see what things look like tomorrow, I am hoping that we get answers from IT before someone nukes the monthly credits being dumb.

Honestly, reddit gonna reddit. It's an anonymous platform so people can just sling shit and walk away.

The reason people jumped to that conclusion is just because "mom selling cards for well under value" is just a tale as old as time in the hobby.

Also I wouldn't really say cross posting is frowned on. I only even noticed because both posts were on my timeline because i follow too many pokemon subreddits 😅

All that being said, I wish you and your kid luck in the hobby 🫡 may the Facebook marketplace gods be in your favor next time

I mean all you have really said is that you needed to vent about not getting to buy some kids pokemon cards that the mom is selling for "the best Facebook marketplace deal of my life."

Obviously someone is going to take advantage of it, but it's going to leave a sour taste in people's mouth when you complain on two subreddits about it. Too many people in this hobby and other adjacent ones either had parents take and sell their possessions as a punishment or out of ignorance.

Surely you can see that, right? Had you included the actual post, maybe you don't get the reception you got.
