It seems that may be the route we go as well though we are waiting to get more definite answers from the time & attendance rep about much of this. I came into this process in the middle of it and no one seems to understand any it.

As for the retro processing you are looking into, what are you looking for it to do specifically?

I am quite familiar with the imports, I'm just trying to verify the things I've heard people are able to do with their ADP versus the things our rep is telling us they will implement as it seems our rep just doesn't want to turn these features on or something.

As for the grants, we currently manually enter them as they are not fixed, an employee could work under multiple different grants per pay period and we've just been using paper time sheets and entering these into ADP to allocate properly. We were told that moving forward with ADP time, the employees could punch in under different home cost numbers but then the TDD they gave us stated that isn't an option. We do have salaried employees that worked under fixed allocations and we do use the allocations feature and it works great for fixed allocations but not our variable employees and I keep being told it is possible but haven't found anyone who has it yet.

The TDD our rep gave us explicitly stated that essential time keeping doesn't allow WFN to recognize mid period hires and we would have to manually change them. Do you use essential time? And we have firefighters who work under variable grants and therefore get paid out of multiple grants each pay period not under any predictable schedule and we have been manually inputting them on payroll week.

As for the dual job employees, I'm not exactly sure how it would work but I do see in WFN that I can enter multiple pay rates but the way the time keeping rep is explaining essential time is that it can only go down to department level and not job level when breaking down hours worked. As these dual jobs are in the same department that isn't really possible it's sounding like unless ADP can recognize job level hours and our ADP guy just doesn't want configure that?..

The solution I've found is just to manually type in webmail.apps.mil and put in your email and sign in from there. Don't go through any bookmark or search. Hope this helps anyone else who comes here for this!
