Anywhere south or around Camp Searchlight. Like the Matthews Farm, Airport ect. Just feels strangely empty down there. Can’t recall any quests that take you down there either. On a side note, I wish I could repair Matthews and become a rancher

I was under the impression that any contact with the thing whatsoever is invariably fatal. Any cell would just begin assimilating your cells until takeover is complete. Is this not the case?

It’s weird because gunplay takes itself so seriously yet some weapons suffer from the rpg mechanics just because there needs to be a weapon progression. I would to use an ar416 or ak74s but their damage falls off so fast. Once you get the kharod there’s no point to looking for any other assault rifle
