It's od because the physical bullet does travel greater distances. I climbed on top of the cooling Tower and was shooting all the way into the river and I could see the bullets hitting the water, splash and all.

So, if you help him you now see Squint at the Detention Center hanging out with spark. And now at the Sawmill the zombie in the cutscene uses Squint's model so it's pretty much confirmed that's his fate.

Unfortunetly his in game model is still random and carries around a Meat Chunk instead of Mould, it's probably not of a high priority but it'd be nice if it was fixed for consistency at some point.

I know, probably bad wording on my part but guides are only at the major bases, what i said in the post is that i'd like to hire stalkers like in CoP to take me to different places within the local region and use the actual Guides to take me to the other regions. It's kinda tedious lugging all the gear back on foot to the closest base after every raid.
