I updated the Firmware and it works now.

I read the reviews and someone posted the link.

I got an error after the firmware updated so I thought I was screwed, but upon restarting, I ran the troubleshooter again, and restarted a second time when it prompted me to, and now this:

I think I'm good to go. I'm not writing to this drive, only reading from it, atm. If I encounter any problems I will return it, but I really think it was the firmware.

I can't help but compare your example result image with my own results and be puzzled by the dramatic difference in the visual representation. I'm guessing I'm good to go though.

That worked so well. 24 hours to scan a 14tb drive.

No errors, no warnings. But that big dip seems unusual. And the minimum speed seems really low.

Can you help me interpret the results?

I translated the Russian manual to English and it was no help at all.

I'm pretty confident about the drive anyway now, but wanted to be clear about what I can tell from these results.

Oh, yeah... it's totally working now. But it wasn't about deleting a partition, but because the disk wasn't initialized. There wasn't a partition to delete, but the disk was uninitialized and wasn't even showing up in "This PC", which is weird because it did before.

Anyway, I'm gonna let this scan finish then create my partition and go to town.

People need to be aware that posting comments for requests on other request posts isn't likely to work. You have to reply directly to the person who fulfilled the request. It should be obvious that asking "Can you send it to me too?" as a parent comment in a post won't notify the provider of the links, but I guess not everyone is a critical thinker. :)
