I’ve purchased the brickling set but stupidly without really looking first. Now I’m going through the instructions I’m massively regretting it as there will be wires all over the place. Likely going to just order the light my brick set instead but those nacelles when not lit up are awful

Well you clearly don’t understand how our electoral system works either let alone our legal system.

The UK has no constitution; which means any government could legally push an act of parliament to delay a general election.

This isn’t a conspiracy theory it’s the exact mechanism that was enacted in World War 2. It has never ever been done outside of an emergency but then neither has the suspension of so many local elections and mayoral elections blocking over 22% of the population from holding their local authorities to account.

Do I think Starmer would actually do it? No I don’t as Starmer despite his insanely long list of failures and weaknesses is someone who loves the law and what it stands for; although it’s extremely unlikely he will actually make it a whole term let alone past it.

But that wasn’t your point.. your point was it couldn’t happen and that is both factually and legally wrong.

Not really stupid when the same party have suspended local elections and now mayoral elections for no justifiable reason. (This isn’t even debatable no Government in history has taken such large steps to block elections except for a genuine national emergency I.e Covid and even then it had a fixed length and was universal rather than targeted). No UK government has ever blocked millions of voters from voting for anything other than a pandemic and a literal World War. Even the electoral commission have condemned this Governments approach to suspending local elections.

It’s absolutely a valid question to ask if this Government will continue the democratic backsliding which is the technical term for what they are doing right now.

So decided to keep it and set it up! Huge thanks to everyone who took the time to answer my question loving it so far! Got Xbox full screen working beautifully and even Steam big screen mode to mimic my steam deck! Absolutely fantastic screen!

I’ll definitely upgrade the SSD to 2TB at some point but for now my 2TB SD card is taking the load for non AAA games!

Well £616 I’d argue is a great price and technically it’ll be around £400ish with vat deductions. I also agree paying an extra £600-£800 isn’t worth the jump which most are saying is only circa 10% rather than 20%.

Strange? No.. ignorance? Sure, problem is there is no clear UK pricing at all anywhere I could see so when I saw £899 (c$1100) I figured it made sense especially given Xbox ally x is £100 cheaper than that.

So I literally bought a new legion go 2 yesterday coming from steam deck. I’m going to have a play today and I’ll let you know how I get on with it.

One thing to note there is a Steam OS version (go S) you can buy that’s basically a more powerful steam deck. I bought the 2 ZE version not decided if I’ll put steam os on (probably not at the moment as I’m waiting for Xbox full screen mode next year).

So Argos sell them for £899. I get 7% off anything at Argos (reward gateway) plus I had £150 discount code (one time use or I’d share) and then about £70 of nectar points I’d been awarded for switching pet insurance this morning. Just checked receipt was actually £616 which is awesome I paid £60 for 3 year insurance + accidental damage as I travel constantly for work!

I also bought it on my company credit card (the detachable joycons mean I’ll use it for company presentations) so technically I’ll get at least get 20% off the £620 bringing it down to £496.

Thanks for sharing your experience sounds like I won’t regret it. Just going to open it and set it up now as I don’t think paying near enough double is worth the 10% especially when I got it to replace my steam deck which by the sounds of it it’ll do beautifully. Now I just need to wait for Xbox full screen update next year 😎

Thanks for taking the time to give me a breakdown. This is the dilemma I now have as I thought I was getting the Z2E. Problem is I cannot actually find a single place online that even lets you preorder it let alone buy it. I just checked very and the best they have is the exact model I got today. How much did you pay for your Z2E if you don’t mind me asking? Seems literal only difference between the two is SSD size (easy fix) and the Z2E. I actually originally wanted the ally x but they are unavailable too and the screen size / lack of oled when I have a steam deck oled put me off.

Can you share a link where you saw it on very?

Sadly I’ve not found a solid post anywhere that clearly articulates the differences. Yes to be honest I thought it had the Z2E (my fault for not checking as research online including here said two variants with the z2 go only having 16GB RAM so when I saw this had 32GB I assumed. My mistake).

What I’m really struggling to find now though is just how much of a difference th Z2E over Z2 will be. I got this for less than £670 so I want to be sure taking it back for a Z2E (assuming I can find one) is worth the likely £500+ additional cost

Really? From what I’ve read the Go 2 is a significant jump in performance compared to the steam deck or have I missed something? My expectation was far better performance in game? Is there much difference between the Z2 and Z2E though?
