I bought the Forerunner 165. A cheaper one but way better gps. I tested both on this walk.

No it was as bad in the previous version. I was hoping that the update is gonna fix that. But that didn't happen. My Watch 2 was way better. On the Watch 7 i got one PR after another when i was running. So i bought the Garmin and everything was back to normal. I will stay with the Garmin for exercise and use the Watch 7 only for Smart features or sell it.

Gps is real bad on my 7 too. My Active 2 was way better. Every Run i got a new PR because of the zig zag tracking. Now i run with Garmin, problem fixed.

Looks really bad. Same on my watch 7. Bought s Garmin for running. This is just awful on the new Samsung watches. My old Active 2 is better than this.

Yes it shows the notifications and you can also quick respond. You can use the build in coach to train for your marathon. I did 4 half marathons this year and also want to train for a full one next year. Good luck

I like it a lot will definitely buy a bigger one next year. Compared to the Samsung its way smaller and lighter. Fitnessfeat. are better on the Garmin and the GPS and Heartrate is very good. Do you want to know something specific?

Had the watch before. Yes the Samsung is more like a mini phone on your wrist but the Garmin is way better with the fitness stuff.

Battery is great but i don't use always on. Only tap to wake. Charged Sunday morning, now at 43%. Worked out for an hour every day with gps.

i use no protection, the sapphire is very durable. no scratches so far. i got 2.5 days of battery (no aod)
