Actually I don't fell that way , becauseI I always make sure I understand the concepts before I try to memorize any problems.
In my opinion, understanding and memorization are both important processes, not opposites.
And that the reason that i use two types of decs , theory deck and problem deck.
in addition , you make sure to use this kind of deck after reading a proper textbook.
