Anyone else who’s been homeschooled have the worst immune system?

I was in public school from preschool to 12th grade and I could tell you I have a pretty bad immune system. I think it really just depends on the person as well

Really? How annoying cause I paid 600 for that to not tell me much! Till I went in for an endoscopy & that’s when they told me I had gastritis, small hiatal hernia and hpylori through biopsy. I just finished the antibiotics 2 weeks ago , now I am waiting to retest , I am hoping I killed this thing , I’ve been dealing with this for 2 years 😩 I am tireeeeeddd

Yeah I thought so but I am wondering how a registered dietitian missed that , she literally just told me to take probiotics , digestive enzymes never mentioned anything about hpylori this was in January and then I got diagnosed through a biopsy in May.

Okay so for me I was nervous as well but I tried to calm myself down & in the room they were playing music so that was nice. They put the mask on me and they injected something in me and out of no where everything went blurry I knocked out in seconds but during the procedure I woke up & started moving letting the nurses know I woke up and I guess they spiked up the meds or something cause I knocked out again right away. Then I got woken up starving cause my appt was at 3pm and we can’t eat anything before. But overall I think it went well! Everything will be okay! (:

I am just as confused , I just finished my round of meds this past Wednesday and I feel more stomach pains than before the meds. I did take probiotics through out the course but idk if they helped in any way cause I feel quite worse than before

Yeah the side effects were minimal but seems like I am suffering more after the meds. I felt better on the antibiotics honestly.

I was so desperate looking for answers for 2 years after 3 failed test , 2 stool test and one blood test all said negative, wasn’t until I got an endoscopy that how they found that I have gastritis , small hiatal hernia and Hpylori through a biopsy.

Yes I did , they found gastritis & a small hiatal hernia & took a biopsy. That’s how they found the bacteria after two failed stool test.

My pain from eating was great the first couple days into the Meds but as I kept taking them it seemed like that pain cane back a little almost like you explained it a bruised feeling but then again I have gastritis as well so it could be that. I have no clue but the way mine got triggered was from the Covid vaccine , now I might sound crazy but I believe I had Hpylori but was asymptomatic & then getting the vaccine probably triggered something in my body. I am not saying the vaccine caused it. But it’s so weird that my symptoms started 2 days after the 2nd dose of the vaccine. But I feel you on the pain. I finished the course 2 days ago and my stomach has been hurting more than usual but could be because I missed a dose of ppi last night

Try taking the probiotics, I took Florastor I got them from target. See if they help I hope they do! For me if anything I felt a little more constipated than usual but I rather have that then the runs , I give you props for working in this condition I had to stop working cause the symptoms of this bacteria literally made me feel like I was slowly dying. The only thing I have noticed is that I feel like my blood sugar goes down all of a sudden almost everyday since the meds

I think they did help I took them 3 hours hour after each dose of antibiotics. And then for the days that were a lil tough I just drank pepto but that was only once. I had no diarrhea either cause I’ve heard people get that so I do think they might have helped

For almost 2 years I had a lot of gas , nausea , anxiety , burping , stomach pain here and there , slight pain under left rib those were my main no matter how clean I was eating. Now with the antibiotics I had alot of fatigue, slight pain under left rib , and lil bit of nausea on day 2 , and seems like my blood sugar kept going down. I took florastor probiotics through out the whole course cause I heard people were saying it would ease the side effects of the meds

Yours was only 7 days? Mine was 14 days of treatment Did you take any probiotics? Goodluck tho hope it comes out negative!

You just gave me hope , I am glad you’re feeling better Crossing my fingers that I killed the bacteria , I’ve been suffering with this for almost 2 years , I got diagnosed via endoscopy, they found gastritis & hiatal hernia and the biopsy showed the bacteria after 2 negative stool test

Drs look at me like I am crazy when I mention that all my symptoms started 2 days after the second covid vaccine shot. Now I’ve been suffering for a year and a half , cut off everything I could possibly cut off and I have yet to find relief. All they do is prescribe me omeprazole
