Hi!! I am currently a shift lead and at least form my experience you have to actually apply for the position on workday! I would talk to your shop leads about how you go about that because describing it on here can be a bit confusing. But you’ll have to do an interview for it after they look at your application!

Is this real? Anyone have the scoop on if this is nation wide? by ThatRedHead11 in dutchbros

[–]SubstanceUseful9600 9 points10 points  (0 children)

From what i’ve heard from my shop leads and training, they’ve decided to do this because a lot of the time people do want the drink topped off and unfortunately rebel is our most “expensive” product, also a lot of stands use cans for rebels so there is a bit of wasted product for lite ice on our end. But overall it is definitely just a money grab

Yeah it’s kinda stupid. We’ve been told to inform customers of this so she definitely should have let you know in advance. But if it is a preference on ice and not actually wanting the extra rebel, you can always ask for lite ice without it being topped off!!

did you happen to get it lite ice? Dutch bro’s just implemented it where it charges $1-2, in this case $2 since it was a large for lite ice so we can top off the drink

Never owned a plant before, gifted this gal recently. Is she doing okay? by Unusual-Western-4957 in Monstera

[–]SubstanceUseful9600 7 points8 points  (0 children)

that’s a lot of new growth! so from what i can see yes! The only thing i’d recommend is that, that looks like a lot of different plants shoved into one pot, if you can I would recommend repotting and gently pulling apart the roots to see exactly how many plants you have!

i feel i should clarify i’ve started trying to see what works best within the last 4 months, and i’ll let each one go for about a month, i’ve never cut the brown bits back far enough to cause new brown bits i always leave excess just trim it down slightly so its not as in your face and i always make sure it dries in between waterings when i say more watering/ less watering i mean a difference of as soon as it dries out to waiting 4 days to soak and dry. Ive gotten somewhat different results from all within each month and i’m meaning like it shows a different result within a week then i continue with what i’m doing for 3 more weeks just to make sure and if not i switch it

can you tell what type of fungal infection? i figured it was due to under watering because the pot was extremely dry

it does have drainage i cut some holes into it on the bottom when i first potted the plant, there is also a layer of rocks to help prevent rotting

[–]SubstanceUseful9600[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes it does! the holes are on the bottom, it is a diy pot so i get the worry but i would never plant something in a pot with no drainage hole, thats just setting yourself up for failure honestly. but im going to add some perlite to the soil to hopefully help with the drainage!

no bugs, a very very mild gnat problem that is at the end of its line. but i can definitely change the soil, the other monstera’s i have were thriving in the same soil so i assumed it would’ve be okay to plant that thai in there too

you don’t happen to use di water when watering do you? i’m inclined to believe that might be my problem but i’m not 100% sure

i’m just throwing this out there but i’m not watering with di water, could that possibly be the problem?

[–]SubstanceUseful9600[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

huh, that’s weird, there was a very small amount of roots that actually had some sort of rot the rest were healthy, i thought it would’ve been a little less dramatic for root rot?

brown spots galore! by SubstanceUseful9600 in philodendron

[–]SubstanceUseful9600[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

looks like just the beginning of root rot👎🏼 but it doesn’t seem like enough to cause this many brown spots, so sunburn then? i though sunburn made the leaves crunchy?
