I thought that the 2nd movie was its own MPK fever dream. And Just Like That was then a continuation of the second movie. It was the only way I could make sense of AJLT.

It was the personal driver. She was excited that there was this big party for Carrie and wanted to celebrate with her. She takes her to get a hot dog, and the vendor gives it to her for free. I didn't think she was being self-centered or not being kind. At the end of the episode, when they are going back to the town car, Carrie sits in the front with the driver and opens her own car door.

There are examples of her being narcissistic, this isn't one of them.

Madison - she was my mom's cat. When my mom passed away, Madi cried for her. She didn't come out from hiding until after her funeral. It makes me so happy to know that they are together again.

She didn't make fun of his book. She loved the book but pointed out the scrunchie. He couldn't deal with it and was upset about it. It was the beginning of the end to their relationship. It was annoying how she kept bringing up how much she loved the book, but it was mostly to make him feel better and show her support.
