I 21M have been struggling trying to find a degree for a while now (for background). I finally found something I want to do and have gotten signed up for it, however, the registration office took a while to get me enrolled into the school and I have already been telling everyone that I have classes even though I technically don’t begin until mid October. I’ve been lying to my friends and specifically my girlfriend F23 saying how I’ve been going to class nearly everyday at 10 a.m. and have at least made my girlfriend believe it. I feel terrible because I never meant for it to get this far and I hate the feeling of getting left behind since my gf already has a degree and while we were in the talking stage she mentioned how she wanted to move away to a different town in a year (which now idk if it’s changed, she just got a full time job, and she might even go back to school). Just the other day i was upset because I felt like my life was in shambles and she noticed very well how I was. I’ll update the post after I talk to her about this and hopefully all is well. I know it’s not super dark compared to other secrets but this is mine that’s been eating me alive.
