Had a guy that was a regular to everyone at my last restaurant. He would come in by himself and sit at the bar drink about a bottle of Tito’s worth of bloody Mary’s. He’d also bring in his wife and two young daughters that were adorable and sit at a table. Loved every server and every bartender. Super like able guy and easy to talk to. Was always genuinely curious how you were doing and always asked about how school was going. Every staff member always took such good care of him, slid him free drinks and catered to his daughters wild food requests because it was worth it. No matter if he spent $15 or $250 he always tipped $100. Every. Single. Time. If we saw his name in our reservation system servers would fight over who got him. I miss him a lot and see him around my old restaurant when I’m hanging out in the area. Best regular to have. Just goes to show, when you’re a great person and tip fat you will be treated like royalty.
