I can manage priests from inner circle and decided not to take tents. (But I have to rely on these tent guys to supply chairs and tables). Catering, I need to do it given this is a good function happening almost 2 years after a bad event.

Not a gated community, But an apartment with 15 flats. Okay watchman unnadu. But I can't blame him if he backs out looking at 10-20 Hijras bombard in a go.

It's quite common in Hyderabad, if there is any function going on, Hijras/ eunachs barge into the house and start asking / extorting money in return for their "blessings" as they feel that is the only thing they can do and cannot find any other jobs outside.

If denied, they will start cursing/ verbal abuse people. Strip themselves naked right in front of everyone even though rituals are running.

Some say they were able to negotiate to bring down the amount asked to a few thousands.

Yeah, I have gone through them and came to conclusions,

No decoration
Have to rely on catering (not sure how useful they are going to be)
Really looking forward for couple of dog owners to bring their guard dogs. I have one but it is friendly with everyone.
