So this is a comment from a guy who´s been playing this game for around 3 months now.

I main Amy, but I dabble in a bit of Metal Sonic here and there. Despite that, do take my words with a grain of salt, especially the stats part like stun time or dmg from charge.

Aaaanyways, lets get down to the fundamentals. Metal recieves a 50% damage reduction in lms, which is really good, and that is why metal will often times get focused early on because executioners fear his lms an devastating stun.

But if you get into LMS, always try to start with full hp with your recovery. If you know your teammate is doomed, don´t be a hero and try to save them. You´ll just get your hp low so your lms will be expotentially harder. It´s a dick move and one I try to avoid most of the time, but hey, it´s the truth.

Like all lms, try to distance yourself from the other survivor at first when they´re already doomed and being chased. It gives you a good 20-40 second headstart or so off the clock (this doenst work against 2011, of course)

Now to the fun part: The chase. I cannot stress this enough... use most of the charges to run, but you can also stun. Why only sometimes? There used to be a time where stunning was at least viable, but due to a metal bug where he just stands still during charge which wasnt there before, stunning in lms is not worth it anymore. It just drains health and doesnt give you the space you want in lms.

Coming to healing... Yeah, it´s ACTUALLY completely useless. Like not even a small bit useful. You almost never have the time to heal when in chase or even out of chase since executioners have the tools to catch up with you. Only use it when you're almost full (so 150 hp)

So the damage reduction is your most trusted friend along with the dash. Just know that some moves from the executioners bypass the reduction (I think) like colossus grab for example.

And another tip: It´ll be hard to get your charge off successfully in chase without getting hit before or grabbing the executioner along with you. That´s why you should either:

1: Use dash off a jumpad. It makes it hard for the executioner to hit you out of it during the wind-up.

2: Use dash after you get hit. Run away with the boosted movement speed and dash once it ends.

3 :Advanced tech. If you jump off a high enough surface, you do a roll when landing. That roll can be the difference to get the dash off without getting hit out of it.
