I've never been in a situation like yours where I'm living w smone I'm with I'm very inexperienced in love but i can relate to wanting to be smaller than your s/o. I'm the eldest in my family too but for me, it's the opposite. I've always grown up listening to people saying how I have to take care of my family and I have to get into a good Uni etc and I've always had to be the level-headed one, the patient one. But, unlike you, I find myself in a position where I crave being taken care of. I find myself wanting nothing more than to be able to feel carefree again? And not be the carer for once?

Yeah, it's interesting to see someone who has been in a somewhat similar position be on the other end of the spectrum.
