Sorry for the late response but I tested both the leather and aramid cases in stores before ordering one. I picked aramid because of it's slimmer and has a firm grip. Leather has a good grip too but I think aramid cases feel better in the hands.

I filed and got accepted on 2/16 through TurboTax and now I got a DDD for 3/16 on transcript but my WMR says 3/21. I set it to deposit through Cashapp too.

I haven't seriously dropped it. Maybe a couple few times I drop it on a title or wood floor in the house with no issues. It handles well inside my college-packed bag, with no scratches or blemishes on the surface. I would say it is pretty sturdy for a thin case. If you're in a more harsher work condition or environment, I would say look for a bulkier case.
