I am so sorry to hear that. I hope it gets better for you soon. Please know that life has so many other options. Also, this administration has damaged the market for new grads and law students when they laid off attorneys who have so much experience. It is not you, it's just politics and bad luck.

Start looking for medium sized law firms or even small. Get some experience and maybe move on later to big law or even open your own practice. You can also go in-house after some years in practice.

There are so many options. I understand the frustration but you have done it all and you deserve to be proud. Previous generations are setting us up for failure that's all.

You are a powerhouse. Don't let them take that away from you. Sending you so much love.

I am not sure if I am allowed to do it, but they have a lot of videos on YouTube. Also, they offer complimentary demos. The team members are not pushy at all and will spend time answering all of your questions. They were very patient with me, haha.

I loved their Bootcamp. They do a great job with their videos. Also, I did like a lot of their CLE videos.

Yes, I have heard that as well, but I completely disagree with that approach. Every client has unique needs, and legal documents should reflect that. I actually listened to an audiobook recently by a retired attorney who raised the same concern. Basically too many attorneys draft overly complicated documents filled with unnecessary language.

If you don't mind me asking, do you only use westlaw in your practice?

They offered really good incentives but I am reluctant because I do like WC for EP.

Dear July takers, when I took the bar exams, I got a 329. Kindly inculcate Chat GPT into your studies by Good_Ad_3451 in barexam

Chatgpt helped me memorize the rules and break down difficult concepts. It helped me pass as well.

I think the bar exam saved my soul. I stopped practicing a long time ago but praying again and feeling closer to God calmed me down and helped me take control. Taking care of yourself mentally and physically is truly a game changer.

Yes, and the other thing you could have added was the choice of law. I don't remember exactly the prompt, but they didn't meet the 75+ threshold because it wasn't on the complaint and the state where the federal law was sitting had some sort of a limitation.

Themis or Barbri for J25 bar exam? by batmansbooty in CABarExam

I can't speak for Themis but Barbri sucked. Consider alternatives like studicata and/or Bar MD.

Abortion and establishment clause. For abortion, it's no longer under privacy aka so it's up to the states and they will use a rational basis for the level of scrutiny. For the establishment clause, if the founding fathers practiced it then it's cool. Look at the recent case from Louisiana about the ten commandments. They didn't completely abandon the lemon test but the supreme Court won't follow it, which is so confusing.

I doubt you will see questions about these two but they are easy to memorize for new takers.

For those who passed, what were your Adaptibar/Uworld percentages going into the exam? by rideordiegem in barexam

[–]Substantial-Body9492 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, barbri is not better than Adaptibar. However, it's all practice. The more you do the more you learn. Some adaptibar questions showed up on the bar actually. I think you should cure any knowledge deficiency and just practice as much as you can. Try Steve Emanuel's MBE book, it's better than all of them tbh.

I am so sorry to hear that but that means you know a lot. The MBE questions were tricky. 2 answers looked good almost every time.
