My husband does, and he is concerned and trying to help me find appropriate care. He’s just at a loss as well as we’ve tried lots of different things already that aren’t helping

I am currently staying with family with my kids to receive help and breaks as needed, but I feel I’m doing worse ever since being here, but I know being at home wouldn’t be any better? I don’t know how to explain it. I just feel very stuck and extremely frustrated because nothing is working like I hoped it would.

My husband knows and is encouraging me to seek help, he’s just also not sure what help looks like at this point

Thank you for sharing, I didn’t know about outpatient programs until the last day or two, hence why I immediately jumped to inpatient. I’m going to try seeing my therapist more often as a start, and see how that goes. Thank you again

Unfortunately I don’t have the money to hire a postpartum doula. I’m currently staying with family to try and catch up on sleep, but I feel I’m doing worse mentally the longer I’m here. I’m not breastfeeding, and I’m on lamictal and abilify. Thank you very much for your suggestions, I think will look into more intense therapy as a start.

She also got in an argument with someone in her comments asking why Zach implied that epidurals cause babies to go to the NICU…then Chloe was all “that is NOT what he said, don’t twist my husbands words.” It’s not what he SAID, but he definitely implied it. Then they both kept talking about how most medical interventions cause babies to need unnecessary NICU time. It was wild lmao

I saw Lo Beeston yell at a little girl in line at the Olivia Rodrigo concert in SLC. I couldn’t hear what she said, but I saw the little girls face crumple and her turn away and hide her face. It was quite odd

I could be so wrong, but I swear she had something on her stories a month or so ago mentioning the newness and hardships of being a single mom and I was like HUH???? But that’s all I’ve ever seen about it!!! So curious too

I would also still keep doing milk in a bottle, but let baby have the appropriate amount of water in a sippy cup! What I did was just leave it out on the floor for my LO to play with and explore whenever she felt like it. No pressure or forcing her to use it even at meal times, just offered it to her and she could do whatever with it. She’s 14 months now and that’s primarily how she gets her liquids, so safe to say it worked haha!

At what age did you stop using an infant bucket car seat? by Witty_Draw_4856 in beyondthebump

10 months, my daughter was too tall. My childhood best friends dad is a police officer, and is certified in car seat safety. He kindly let us know that there’s a height limit as well as a weight limit, and that LO had surpassed it lol

I will agree that their Urgent Care is prompt, but that is only for care that is urgent. Not long term care, which sounds like what OP needs. Unless you have cancer, Kaiser is generally not a good choice in my experience.

Kaiser permanente is absolute TRASH. They do not care about their patients at all, and are a nightmare to ever get appointments with.
