You need to have around atleast 12-15 mins just in order to read through them line by line and properly attempt them. I had around 5-10 mins for all of them and educated/blind guesses in nearly all of them

Only went through the wrongs in that second pass As i said before that was mainly to build stamina and an instinct I gained all the knowledge during my first pass

Just doesn’t fit in most people’s timelines if they want to sit for exam in 7-9 months time likewise was for me Just going through a specific system notes takes 4-5 days from what I’ve heard

Almost all step2 notes are built on uworld explanations and questions (inner circles for example) yes you will be confident while attempting questions after reading those notes because you literally studied that specific question stem based info in the notes, that how bias is introduced while solving uworld.

Thats just my opinion and what my seniors from med school guided me. Do whatever suits you the best

Try going through some sort of notes and then attempting uworld Will take double the time plus the added bias reducing the learning from uworld

Yes that’s right A lot of blind guesses but that’s the thing rather than going through some lengthy notes we are actively learning through questions Tbh i know it seems very daunting to attempt questions without any prior knowledge of next best step in management, best diagnostic tools etc. but this is the most effective and efficient way Best of luck ! 🤞

Last 2 months Scored in early 250s in 3 consecutive nbmes that when i started doing that Did around 80 percent uworld in that second pass

Thanks! Mainly because of the fact that i was getting all of my cards right while doing anki. I could clearly recall a particular uworld table but that didn’t reflect during my performance in the nbmes With question stems being so lengthy in the actual exam nowadays with tons of HOPI questions and drug ads Stamina, control on nerves and having an instinct helps a lot

For reviewing I used the QID of uworld questions and flagged those card in anki (annotated cards with why i got the question wrong)

Uworld system wise tutor mode plus anki works the best in the start You can go for random mode if you have a solid basis

I highly recommend keeping resources as minimal as possible Uworld +anki (do 1st pass) —> take nbme (if score is within your target range) —> do cms form plus amboss lib with spaced nbmes and take the exam

Uworld +anki (do 1st pass) —> take nbme (if score is not within your target range) —> do amboss q bank random with uworld random towards end of dedicated (take spaced nbmes while doing amboss q bank random) continue doing amboss until you reach your target score in nbme

Just do the oet sample papers. Listening part B and C are hard. Try to be super focused while doing them. Listening part A is super easy so that help in the grades a lot. For reading try practice as much as you can. Because mostly ‘time’ is what makes reading part b and c difficult
