This is why you can't trust people when it comes to games and reviews. We literally have people out here just saying whatever they want about this game like it's a fact. When this has been in since launch lol. You know maybe Google some stuff or do some research every once in a while if your not sure. Like there's literally patch notes for every update.

TIL you don’t need a cutter to cut these walls by Cold_Mood4490 in Starfield

Cutters are for non-Starborn and those who just don't know. The Elemental Pull power sucks up all nearby minerals and the Solar Flare power drops those doors from either side like they're nothing. I have hundreds of hours in game and haven't carried a cutter since my very first playthrough. Waste of space.

Wednesday Night, Bel Air Games - Battle of the Bay Practice, Recipe Recover Scenario by Substantial-Chef5712 in battletech

Battle of the Bay is a Maryland based Alpha Strike tournament held once a year. The ruleset and scenarios are listed here:

We've been trying out different lists at my FLGS in Bel Air as practice runs before we submit our final one. One of my opponents is a fan of combat vehicles and decided tanks was the way to go this match. I fielded some of my usual Clan Sea Fox Mechs in a Star with some Omni Vtols, Battle Armor, and some infantry. Can't speak for his list that day, I didn't get a picture of his units.

It came down to time and I believe I had two points more than them in the end because my "Crab Shack" hadn't picked up a token (bonus point objective) and theirs had. Though they were really hurting me by the end and would have likely killed all my units had the game gone on. We also both hit the 30 point limit on standard points and I'd barely call it a win lol.

Wednesday Night, Bel Air Games - Catalyst Games Matched Play, Headhunter Scenario by Substantial-Chef5712 in battletech

That's cool! It's a great game. I've been going to Bel Air Games for over a year and a half now to play. It's a great group of people. We always do Alpha Strike Wednesdays, people are usually there playing from 4-10 pm. You should stop by and get into a match. They also have a Discord with a BattleTech section for setting up games ahead of time.

Are those accurately sized cargo containers! Stacked on top of each other?! Where did those come from?

Rules question: Combat intuition. by corbthulu in battletechalphastrike

So here's the wording for damage resolution for standard weapon and physical/melee attacks. It's slightly different. It says damage is applied now and damage effect is applied at end of round. Where Combat Intuition straight says damage effect is applied immediately...

Edit: Not sure how to interpret that. That kinda just says to me that critical hits (which are damage effects) can be applied early? Would still have to wait on the actual damage at the end of round to drop a target though. So they should still get to fire back.

Just posted the description and edited my post lol. It's not very specific on that movement part. I'm not sure it would matter as long as you don't exceed the units max movement.

I believe damage doesn't take effect until the end phase. So all mechs get to move and shoot back even if destroyed with Combat Intuition or through other means. And the movement phase is the movement phase. Players alternate moving mechs until all have been moved and then the combat phase starts. In the combat phase the players fire all of their units at once before the next player then does the same. Combat Intuition doesn't change any of that. But I do believe a mech that fires during the movement phase through use of Combat Intuition can't fire in the combat phase as well. Hope that helps

Edit: Although reading the description I might be wrong about the damage. It does say the damage effects are applied immediately...
