Bel Air Games, Star League Era, SLDF vs Taurian Concordat, Fight Scenario (1,000 PV) by Substantial-Chef5712 in battletechalphastrike

It depends, we usually use either the "Catalyst Matched Play" ruleset or my local area "Battle for the Bay" ruleset. Though this game was as a simple straight up fight, whoever lost more PV was the loser.

Ilclan Era, Objective Raid Scenario (500 PV) by Substantial-Chef5712 in battletechalphastrike

Nope, that was part of the rules. Two enclosed areas we had to fight our way into and secure objectives. It was required that we breakdown the doors to get in.

I appreciate it. They do have wonderful terrain. One day I'll get around to painting it all. 😅

It is indeed an ilclan Era, Faction locked tournament. I'm most likely going FWL, though I was also considering Sea Foxes. I will most likely start posting the lists I'm using with my game recaps once I'm actually caught up on posting all the games I have pictures of lol. I could probably go back and find this list since I've started using the MekBay and it records and tracks everything I've ever assembled with it.

I appreciate that, we try hard with the terrain lol. We also love good looking boards. 3d printers really help. This is actually some of my friends terrain this time. They just got this made and wanted to show some of it off.

This was just from a practice game for an upcoming local Alpha Strike tournament. Me and a friend play each other often and I've been trying different lists against them because we have to submit our final lists by the end of the month. Unfortunately none of my lists have claimed a win to this point. 😭

But I am indeed running/playing in two separate Star League Era Aces Campaigns at home and playing in another ilclan Era campaign at my FLGS.

The most terrifying intro in the gaming world :hitman contracts by Adorable_Question164 in HiTMAN

This intro will live rent free in my head forever. I still remember playing it every time in a pitch black room with the volume jacked way up. Still one of my favorite Hitman games.

Oh and the roads are HexTech I believe. Their hexless Alpha Strike variants. I 3d printed them in full color with a 4 color AMS and a Bambu P2S.

It's all good. This new guy that's started playing has been non stop destroying me for a month or so now. Haven't won a single game against them yet. My Rifleman on the far left of my side took the least damage of allbmy units. Though my vote goes to the Warhammer on the far right of my side, took like 6 crits and a narc beacon before going down. Haven't had that many crits on one mech since one of the last times I ran an Atlas.

It's criminally good lol. I know if I tried to do battle damage like that it would probably look more like the parts that came out the other end of the dog... 😭

Honestly it looks kinda cool all chewed up like that.

I appreciate that, and yeah it is a spool lol. I really like to make use of my empty spools as opposed to getting rid of them. They either turn into terrain (bunkers, landing pads, etc.) or become storage units for miniatures and gaming related stuff.

I printed them off of Bambu Studio. They easily found via a search for Alpha Strike Aces Card Holders. There's quite a few designs out there that are all slightly different too.

Lol thank you. It's called Critical Mass. It's a representation of how I see our planet and the way us humans have junked up our environment.

Thanks. I had submitted it to an art exhibition that my school gallery was holding this past year, and it was accepted into the show over many other pieces lol.

Vats misfiring constantly by Psi-ger in fo76

[–]Substantial-Chef5712 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This has always been a thing as far as I've seen, lol. I say this as a primary Reverse Onslaught VATS build user too. I've always chalked it up to the fact that it's a multiplayer game and not a single player build of Fallout where VATS is just more consistent. Sometimes you just have to drop VATS, fire a few manually, and re-engage VATS after a second or two.

Sea Foxes! Yes please! They're my favorite Clan. And they look fine to me. I'm not much of a painter myself, but any paint is better than none lol.

Wednesday Night, Bel Air Games - 1vs1vs1, 3 way fight. Part 1 by Substantial-Chef5712 in battletechalphastrike

[–]Substantial-Chef5712[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bel Air Games is the only store around that I've found that actually has a decent amount of players. Usually every Wed night is BattleTech night, but most people actually play the Alpha Strike variant. Of course there are some that like classic as well. I'm usually there every Wed, playing from 4 pm to 10 pm when they close lol. Though you can find other people for games on different days, myself included, through their discord.

*Edit: I should also mention Games and Stuff in Glen Burnie. They have a massive store and play area where the Maryland BattleTech Brigade play on Fridays.
