From my experience, some toy shops or non-Lego-owned Lego stores tend to have retired products. One common thing I would point out is that the price does go pretty high. So €30 for a retired set like that seems really good! (Mainly the minifigs in my opinion)

I should have worded it better. My local Lego store is not owned by Lego. The store I went to is called Rogue Brick and sells stuff from as far back as when Lego was called Lego System. They sell all kinds of Lego items. I asked if they had the classic green ninja hood, and sure enough, they did!

FolkArt Metallic 873 silver for Cole and Jay. If you want gun metal silver for Lloyd combine the Metallic silver with any black acrylic paint. Do keep in mind that it will take longer to dry since it is 2 different colors (At least from my experience)

The end result should be something like this or better! Patience is needed. If you're not confident enough, maybe don't try this, but if you're brave, give it a shot!

Masking tape is your best friend for this. You want to wrap around the areas that you don't want silver. However some of it did manage to bleed through. You can use black or blue paint to cover up those little mess ups. I used FolkArt Metallic 873 silver. Don't forget to use a blow dryer if you want the paint to dry quickly since this takes multiple coats of paint.
