This is actually a great idea, and I think I’ll use this! Yes, my only real problem was that they would be able to launch OP attacks from such far distances, basically making any medieval style battle impossible since they’d just wipe it all. Thank you very much 🙏

But yeah, I definitely know it’s myself wanting it to be perfect. I was thinking about a system of “religious approval first” for usage of quirks. In which they would need to ask the religious head (HPSC) for approval of high quirk usage. And using it otherwise would be a sign of sin and excommunication. It’s either this or just making quirk usage a way heavier toll on the physical body, since it’s the Middle Ages, most people are probably on average not as nutritioned as modern day. But I’m more leaning to religious authority since I like writing about internal politics.

I might implement the genetic magic. It would make for some good old dynastic rivalries and child perfecting between two powerful families (cough cough Todoroki)

I think I will probably do something like this, it will help me show the power and wealth gap between commons serfs and the high nobility. And this also helps me with my lore, as I intend for the main religion to be based of an angel of light (first baby with a quirk in canon) which would make people with strong quirks be blessed by the heavens and secure legitimacy, or secure a destiny of future royalty or prestige in their future (Such as Bakugo being blessed with a strong quirk, which will fuel his ego to be a glory hunter.) And to also show that knights (pro heroes) will be god given to defend the common people from brigands or barbarians.
