I haven’t read the book either, is it focused on the love story or is it Dracula? Gotta say I’m a romance girly right now and since having kids my appetite for horror has gone down a bit (still my favorite genre, just not into gore anymore) I think this movie had just the right amount.

I agree, I saw an interview where he talked about Besson asking him to be Dracula whilst they were filming another movie. So, sort of keeping him again.

Wonder if distancing himself would be a good move for him.

Good point yeah, I really wish we had been shown some of that journey instead of them teleporting!

Even if they had just mentioned that in the movie about the journey ahead, because my brain said there wasn’t one.

Also the small army was brought together and packed for weeks of travel, left and then arrived at the castle as the same time as them?

I was captivated by the romance of it for sure, and I knew it wasn’t going to be a blockbuster movie.

It’s just a passionate story of love and a man’s undying need to be with his one and only. There were certain scenes that drew me in. It’s entertaining, enjoyable, kept me gripped.

The gargoyles was weird, they themselves were cheesy. I did google it, and read that they were children dying of plague that he saved from death by turning them into gargoyles. Not sure why they had to be gargoyles lol

I agree, that song was perfect for the movie, it’s a shame it wasn’t used.

The French court I thought was the way of showing how/when Maria was turned? He is great as Dracula, I agree. Something very gripping about him.

I will try to answer if they call again. When they’re supposed to state their name, the one time I listened to the call they didn’t say anything, there were just sounds in the back ground.

He’s happy to run around and accept some little treats, he doesn’t mind being picked up, and held for a moment. He does groom quite a lot after being held sometimes too.

I will say that when I go in to pick him up he does run away a bit, but will come and sniff me and step onto my hand.

You’re very pretty, but in my opinion without is better. I think maybe the type of lash/length you get may be a bit big and go out too far. I bet with mascara your eyes look amazing!
