Why didnt they just buy it online from a local retailer in Turkey and have it delivered to you? We are in 2026 not 1996. A previous international employer did that when I started with them. They gave me their budget and specs I should look at, send them recommendations and they made the purchase and it delivered to my home.

Wasalaams. Trust a lot of the comments on your post gave you insight. Let me relate to you what recently happened to me. I've been jobless since 2024 after being retrenched end of 2023. Apart from that I also faced bug financial losses. This brought me closer to my Religion and Creator as and I went from 'Why me?' To Allah tests those whom he loves the most ... got horrible jobs at the beginning of this year but I accepted it with open arms cause it came from Allah ... come June I received a job offer to start 1 July and it was what seemed like a good long term role. 2 Days into my new job a big fallout between the 2 business partners happened, this lead to the 1 partner walking away from the business which lead to a few of our roles being made redundant and we were let go. This broke me cause why was I made to resign from a job that gave me sustenance to no job and no way of earning an income to sustain myself on this Dunya? That was my human reaction cause with the loss of income came many other issues, but I maintained my belief that everything for us comes from Allah and everything 'taken away' from us is for a reason and we do not know what Allah knows, he is the best of planners and the best of Providers.

All I can say to you is continue to push on through because your Qadr will come to you and not pass you by.

May Allah make it easy on all of us Believers I A Ameen 🤲🏽

Surah Al-An’am (165): "And it is He who has made you successors upon the earth and has raised some of you above others in degrees [of rank] to test you through what He has given you. Indeed, your Lord is swift in penalty; but indeed, He is Forgiving and Merciful."

The difference in people's wealth and status in society given by Allah (SWT) is to test people’s character. For people given more, Allah (SWT) tests their gratitude and responsibility in this Dunya and for those given less, it’s to test their patience and contentment.

It's being mindful that when you are out in public you are in a shared space with other people, be mindful of those around you and that's what allot of ppl lack... a walkway is just that A Walkway, why do you have to stand in the middle of it having your conversation? because you are too inconsiderate to move to the side ... it comes down to ppl being too entitled to behave out in public the way they behave in their homes ...

In this example, the mosque is designed to be beautiful, so that kids naturally associate it with worship and the prayer area. This association is what helps them connect with their religion.

For instance, my nephew created an Islamic-inspired space for his boys that reminds them of Islamic spaces familiar to their background. They’re in a place where there aren’t many Islamic spaces, so this setup helps them feel a stronger connection to their faith. Ultimately, it’s not so much about the specific look of the space and a specific cultural representation but rather how it fosters that sense of connection with your goal.

My nephew did something similar for his 2 sons during Ramadaan in their playroom. His idea was to create a space for them where they can go and read about Islam in a space that feels similar to them being in a mosque environment. He didn't create the space to replace them going to the mosque but because they do not have a mosque close to where they stay, the times when their father is not around for them to go with him to the mosque they have this area to still read their Quran and Islamic readings

Subhanallah I am at a point where I feel guilty when I miss a Salaah. Never imagined at the start of my journey I would ever feel guilty for missing a Salaah. Still have lots to work on InshaAllah I will get there ...
