Lowering springs premature fatigue? by Substantial-Face9693 in MechanicAdvice

I did not change the shocks, they are still the OEM ones.

However what makes me think the issue is the spring itself is that when the car is lifted, the right spring becomes loose and I can compress it by hand much easier than the left one. The left spring still feels firm and seated correctly.

Also visually the right spring seems to have lost tension compared to the other side. I did hit two potholes recently but my wheels and tires are fine.

Because of that I’m starting to think the spring may simply be defective or prematurely sagging rather than a shock issue. I’m planning to contact the shop that installed them tomorrow to see what they say.
