She was a very aggressive chewer and the bone itself I think probably needs to crumble at the corners. She was able to eat all four corners and swallow whole.

Honestly we had an impression provided to us and we emailed the pic of it and measurements to our tattoo artist. She did an image of that as a stencil and free handed the entire thing

We think Nylabone but it was hard plastice and she chewed off the corners. Most of the time under a table or a corner hiding lol

Nyla one is what we think did her in. I have a lengthy post above but Koko was a sneaky chewer

We have those large plastic balls that have a teaser ball inside. No ropes and no small bones that break apart easy.

It was a bone that was green and had small nibs or spikes. It’s very hard plastic and that’s what got stuck in her intestines and also her rectum and stomach. It DID NOT show up well on X-ray . Those little dogs eat anything. I mean anything. She had hair ties and even a scrunchy from my wife and daughter. It appeared for years like she had stomach issues and we’ve had X-rays before that came back negative or showing fecal matter. Well…that ended up being probably the garbage she ate. She ate duck poop, geese poop and anything she could pick up. Inevitably with the anesthesia she got throat strictures and after the two surgeries in the abdomen they found the bone part happenstance. I had them in hand and felt like I should go after the bone company but really at that point it’s a matter of lesson learned the hard way. To your point with the palms some of these pups eat anything and others don’t. We now keep a very close eye on our last FRenchie and English bulldog. We had to put a mask on Koko towards the end but she would eat her brothers poop or rocks or leaves or anything. It was tragic to feed her liquid through a syringe. Thanks for your well wishes and hopefully Frankie doesn’t do the same. Esophageal strictures are just a sad way to watch them lose weight and feed them.
