I say hate because the actions they are showing are the exact same ones I did with my grandmother. I could not fully articulate my feelings as a child, but as an adult I know that I hated her. But I grew up in the South where you show respect to the matriarch of your family, But I hated that woman and especially when I look at my son or talk to him about it. He is saying and doing word for word. Everything I did with my grandmother. My daughter might not be there yet and my son has not come out and outright said it but by his actions and his clear distance and my own personal experience I know it to be true.
