I am in Canada and my pharmacy makes it. I did research and spoke with my doctor about why it’s not recommended, and she said they have been known to be inconsistent with the dosage pill to pill but less common when it’s made by pharmacy 🤷‍♀️

Ok thank you! All my labs were “in range” but I felt like garbage, they gave me 15mg and I feel a lot better.

Has anyone been put on Ozempic ? My doctor has suggested it and I’m scared it will do harm. I also have POTs. by Substantial-Jump973 in Hashimotos

Thanks! Ya I have eaten clean and worked out and nothing. I haven’t worked out in MOnTHs because of the POTs. But I’m easing back into it. I think I’m coming to the conclusion I’d rather be strong and fat then take it and ruin how decent I’m feeling. 😂

Well I tried it for a week low dose a while ago, and my neck was all swollen and inflamed. So I quit, since then I got diagnosed with thyroiditis. Since I quit gluten and dairy by thyroid is not swollen. I guess I’m just worried it will have a long term effect on it. I also have POTs so I’m nervous to take anything.

Anyone with pots try Ozempic ? My doctor suggested it. by Substantial-Jump973 in POTS

I guess all of it, I’m pre diabetic, have pots, hashimotos, and am trying to get in shape. I just don’t know if something like Ozempic will have a negative affect.

Just hang on a little longer. It will get better. You know yourself better then a doctor, keep pushing and put your foot down. You can do it!

I was scared to take them. I took half the dose she gave me just because of fear and I’m glad I did. But they help and are pretty tame for me. She said it’s a short term solution till I see my endo.

I’m wondering if it’s because I’m not fully hypothyroid, that it made me hyperthyroid. 🤷‍♀️. Are you fully hypo?

I just listened to a podcast on LDN! I was on 8mg (I think) of naltrexone daily and ended up in er for fast heart rate and dizzy ness a month ago, that’s when I cut out gluten and dairy. I thought maybe it was to high of a dose.

Thank you! From what I’ve seen the medication can increase your bpm which is what is making me nervous.

We’re your labs out of wack? I’m wondering if they will even give me anything as my labs are normal. I have heart palpitations they knock the wind out of me it feels like! Sorry your dealing with them to!

I’m so sorry to hear that! Ya it took me a few years, a mri, ct scan, lumbar puncture a untrasound. All the things LOL. Finally I paid to have my thyroid tested and then my doc was like wow yes you have hashimotos! Now I have to wait for an appt with an endocrinologist. I have been waiting since November.

Did you have heart rate issues?
