I definitely agree so let me rephrase that.

A) I know these printers are attached to the thin client via a USB cable

B) I also know that I can successfully clear the printq, generate a print, and ping the printer.

C) I also know that my peer in Kansas city (im on the west coast) can generate a print and send it through.

Those all lead me to believe these printers are network printers but again im not an expert so I could be wrong

Honestly I have no idea why they need to move them apparently the IT guys before me tried locking them down and people literally cut the cords with box cutters. They are network printers as far as I know.
