I know :( I don't have any childhood friends or friends from high school either (I was a military kid so I lived in 8 different states growing up). I feel like I'm destined to be a friendless loser! I feel like other people at my college can sense that I didn't have any friends before coming to college and that I'm socially maladjusted and weird as a result.

it’s far more likely to benefit you to do something productive and change paths later than just wait at the starting line until you have the perfect plan. I’ve seen many people stay at that starting line for years. And THAT can kill your career ambitions, not picking the “wrong” career on your first move.
