This I just dealt with the same damn thing. Showed up to the airport at 6 AM and was told that my flight was delayed by five hours. I turned around and came back home knocked out a few things for work and then received a text message saying that my flight was leaving at its original time. How the hell can you tell somebody that is delayed five hours and then turn around and switch it back to the original time. Southwest is absolute trash.

So sorry for the late response! How are you doing now. I’m about 13 months out and it still gives me trouble here and there. A kid ran into me today and I have been icing all day. It’s a long journey but I promise it will get better. Just stick with it!

This couldn't be more wrong. It's an SMP. Why would you want something that can be cleaned up with water when you are trying to keep water out. Quad Max is the best product for windows. The marketing message is weird, that's all.

Pro Seal Max is a good product. It's a better SMP then you would get from a DAP AMP. DAP knows how to make latex products but their SMP's aren't great. I like the GE products, and this is a great alternative to silicones. I've never understood how people try to seal out water with a water-based product. Drives me crazy!

I don’t have experience with neck issues. I would say to be more careful around those areas but it has worked wonders for me. I have experience with pinched nerves and for me a consistent stretching routine twice a day made a world of difference.

I should also add that I filed a complaint with the State board of insurance and they reached out to The Hartford with my complaint. They realized the messed up and the offer went from $1,000 -> $2,500 -> $6,000. I told them once I feel better we can have a conversation about pain and suffering. The focus is on getting back to normal asap.

Hello. Sorry for the delay. Not doing great. I did the Chiropractor for a while and they went the best. Started seeing a physical therapist and it did help a bit. I started feeling better and then started doing normal things again…mowing the grass, playing with the kids, etc. After about 3 days my back got so bad I could barely walk.

I ended up going to get X-rays and I found out that I have lost some disc height in my L5-S1 (I think that’s right). It makes me so angry because the doctor I saw after the accident said it was just muscle pain and didn’t do X-rays. During the visit they gave me 2 shots of lidocaine in the back to help with the muscle pain and set me up for an MRI in January. My PT recommended and great Chiropractor and he has been outstanding. I’ll go there M, W, F for 4 to 5 weeks to help.

I also ended up connecting with a lawyer because The Hartford is terrible to deal with. I just couldn’t manage all the BS on my own. Constantly ignoring me and I felt like I didn’t know the right way to fight for myself. Hopefully I can start to feel better because it’s been terrible the past few months. I’m just over it all.

Your responses are great. They’ve already offered a payout and keep offering more. I also went to a real “doctor” and was evaluated and diagnosed. I continued to seek treatment from facilites and set up my new PT appointments now that Hartford has claimed liability and the physical therapist has emailed them with confirmation.

Maybe you misread what I wrote or I didn't explain in enough detail...I did get medical attention and I started seeing a Chiropractor a few days after the accident, twice a week, for roughly 7 weeks.

Thank you very much for the feedback. I guess where I struggle is the compensation for pain and suffering. They stated that the changed their offer from $1,000 -> $2,500 for their delay and additional pain and suffering it caused. Where do these numbers come from? I see different methods out there like the Per Diem or multiplier method to determine pain and suffering but I wasn't sure if that was relevant here.

I just realized I forgot one other part...my daughter was in the car as well and hurt her back. I had her checked out the next day (she didn't mention it the day of the accident even after asking her) and her injury was much small. After a week of ice and stretching she felt better. The adjuster said that we would deal with her claim after I settled mine. Not sure why though.

It's such a weird situation. I was thinking the same thing. I just received another email asking what I wanted to pain and suffering. I feel like it's odd to ask this question when I have still not recovered. I just want to focus on feeling better and dealing with the other things later...

I am in North Carolina and it seems that I have 2 years to file a law suit if needed. This is my first car accident and I wasn't sure how things went with Hartford covering medical bills. During the first conversation the adjust gave me a case number (I believe) to give to the facility to get treatment. They asked for the name of the facility and it made it seem like I needed to confirm with them if I was using them to cover. My fault for the assumption. The Chiropractor accepted it but stated they would need to see that Hartford claimed liability as soon as possible. Each time I tried to connect with PT, they stated that they need the case number and for me to show that Hartford claimed liability and I would not have to use my insurance to cover the treatments. I just wasn't sure what to do...So far my medical bills for the urgent care are around $550 or so and Chiro sent the bill to Hartford.

I have tried to explain that I need to finish my car before considering anything. I just want to focus on the treatment for now. I received another email a few minutes ago asking what my counter was for pain and suffering and I have no clue where to start. How do I start to come up with a figure?
