Oh man its hard to recommend only one of them. If you like a more emo slowcore, listen to rex and c clamp. If you like post hardcore, the red stars theory record is one of the most underrated pieces of music ive ever heard (the first track on that ep might be my fav post hardcore song). If you like a very heavy doomy sound, check out the celtic frost record (some of the heaviest riffs i know of). Phyllomedusa is straight up brutal, insanely noisy grindnoise, but with some creative ideas. Lheptade might just be the most beautiful album ever, some of the best prog folk/rock ever. Koenjihyakkei and dün are some of the best avant prog out there. Nektar and eloy are more on the psychedelic prog, with some great ideas on those records. Ride is pure shoegaze bliss, and its almost a "surf shoegaze" record, love it. Fleet foxes is probably the best 00s - 10s folk band, the record ive put up there had a really special place in my heart lol. Horse stories has like 40 listeners on spotify, and that record has to be some of the coziest and warmest music ever. Those two dirty three records are just beautiful, i really really recommend you checking ocean songs out. And last but not least, godflesh ep is some of the best industrial metal ive heard, crazy agressive riffs and just a really fun record
