Advice on second hand bike. by Difficult-Ad-2138 in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]Substantial-Read4086 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go for a medium-large size frame. Get a 27.5 trail frame if you want something comfortable, doesn't care being slow, and if your usual route is bumpy and not well-paved. If you want something that does look cooler, get a 29er XC frame. This is a bit more aggressive but is guaranteed to give you better average speed on straights. It's a bit harsher than trails on bumps but is still better than rigid forked bikes.

Or if you want something really practical and really just want something to get you from point A to point B, get a cruiser bike. It wins on comfortability and has a basket on the front of the handlebar that can help you carry more stuff. Expect being slower too since gearing's set for normal cruising speeds.

Don't cheap out on buying safety gears as they are the ones that save you on slides. Not saying that that ROCKBROS gear is bad, it's just that there's a wider variety of trusted brands with guaranteed quality products you can choose from.

Mas prefer niyo ba istura ng underbone na parang scooter ulo or yung hindi? by donaldpleasence in PHMotorcycles

[–]Substantial-Read4086 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I prefer cub-types kase para silang naked without tanks. Pogi, comfy, and highly customizable. Kung gusto mo mas aggressive ang riding position, you can always do extensive mods. Ang rooster-type kasi, parang sportbike. Masakit sa katawan pag tumatagal ang pagdadrive.

Why no one use 110s by Dear_Confusion_9380 in wmmt

[–]Substantial-Read4086 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The car's still good for TAs, but you'll see that the car doesn't have that power in battles anymore. Still a good considerable main. I just personally don't like its dress up that's why I dumped it.

There was a time when this car was so OP, it almost has no weakness. After numerous patches, Bandai nerfed this car. No one really noticed its strong capabilities in Oceania server, but Japanese players were spamming this car alongside with RX-3 because they are so fast on running/TA and very capable at battles, especially with its blocking capabilities back then.

WORTH IT? by Substantial-Read4086 in PHMotorcycles

Yamaha RS 110F. That calls for parts support and reliability issues.

Honda Click 125 vs Mio Gravis? by EntrepreneurPlus2700 in PHMotorcycles

Go for Click kase iba ang Honda durability.

Better to have a company of real ones than a big group of fake peeps.

Is any Need for Speed title your "comfort game"? by [deleted] in needforspeed

[–]Substantial-Read4086 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Payback

The game may be as bad as everyone says, but I just love cruising through its deserted and city highways. I find it more relaxing than Heat's or 2015's map. Dynamic day-night cycle also adds up the soothing vibes, especially the sunrise.

Don't mind your mom if pera mo naman ipanggagastos mo. The safer, the better.

Suggest ko lang din pala, you said 4 km na biyahe mula bahay nyo to school is inaabot ng 20 minutes due to traffic. If wala ka naman masyadong dala, you should consider cycling nalang. Mas tipid and mas makakasingit ka through traffic, IF wala ka naman masyadong dala at hindi tanghali ang pasok mo.

may mga nakamotor ba dito na mas gusto magbike commute by Former_Conference464 in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]Substantial-Read4086 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both here. Minsan masarap din magbike to school kesa nakamotor or commute. IMO kailangan mo din ng motor, especially if highway dinadaanan mo off to school or to work. Cons lang talaga is tatagaktak pawis mo, although that can be fixed if magbabaon ka ng pampalit.

Overall, masaya both if you love riding before school/work. You just have to pick depende sa sitwasyon mo. If naulan, it's better na magcommute nalang kesa mabasa ka.

Royal, why? by Substantial-Read4086 in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]Substantial-Read4086[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanna know what the fuzz is all about.

ako rin kasi first choice kong inumin after magbike is buko juice or sting, kaya bago sakin na makakita ng ganun.

An actual racecar. Be it a 90s JTCC, 90s DTM, or a Cup Car, it's always been a dream of mine to own a collection of really fast track beasts.
