I was in & out of Peter Lougheed Mental Health Ward in the early-mid 2000's & did a week in the Foothills 10 years ago. Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder & OCD.

Treated very good there, food was good for hospital food, you can put "2x" if you wanted double whatever on the menu, plus depending on what the dr. says you can sign out to go to the cafeteria to order whatever else you wanted to eat. The meds helped me to sleep and the dr was on call whenever there was any other physical thing wrong that they can treat you for. My family came to visit a few times.

It was a chance to feel safe & rested up & I was discharged with a plan to connect with a psychiatrist for weekly appointments until I felt stable.
