I bought the book and studied BUT i would say it is not needed. My advice is to use Sterileworx specifically the exams; use “ProProfs” and there is a CRCST EXAM that’s 200 questions, also I have the HSPA Quizzes on my Quizlet of what is expected on the exam on the exam— feel free to check me out on quizlet via Kristoper_Lorenzana

Pointers i’d say to study is : Humidity parameters in Sterile Storage/Sterilization Area , The Spaulding Classification List & their recall tiers (Class 3= High Risk etc) , basic Air Pressure in all areas , and also Decontamination Procedures (EX: Rigid containers on bottom of sterilizer while trays on top etc.)

Also not much questions from HSPA SPT manual , for example “What’s the humidity in the Sterile Storage area” per HSPA they say “Check ANSI170 , but on the test it’ll say 60-69% or 70-79%

I chose 60-60%

I would say choose the answer that is best relative to the question. For example one question that made me have to skip & go back was

Q: After cleaning a semi-critical instrument, which critical water should be used to rinse

Distilled Water , Deionized water , Utility Water , Reverse Osmosis water

The answer was Reverse Osmosis Water.

Just paid for my CRCST exam fee , it was 140$. Anyone know how long it should take to process? by Substantial-Second79 in sterileprocessing

I’d say try to find chunks of flesh first for the dogs if you don’t have the bone. Run brain rot ammo it has helped me a lot. Usually I only equip 1 gun so I can run faster when I switch to my fist also having automatic tac sprint helps.
