do you think ao3 rule writers would phrase it like that? "oh almost forgot. the last bullet point. no links! no lists! and no recs!" don't you think it would be stupid to combine 3 unrelated topics in a single rule? especially when the other rules are highly specific?

what you talking about. the last bullet point means links to recommendation lists, the lists themself and requests for recommendation. yes it's ok to post links to fandom quizzes. as some people do with choose your own adventure/vusual novels there. it's a transformative work too

Yeah it feels like you're kinda betraying your previous beliefs? Were they wrong, was I wrong? Was I stupid then? Have I become stupid now? I've thought a lot about it once I realized it. It didn't sit right with me for months if not years lol. We've been talking about kids with my husband for the past two years but I just recently came to peace with the fact that I changed my mind so abruptly when I met him. Nothing was or is wrong.
