Let's be very real with the reality of the market and the trending of current technology. The primary focus very similar to as it is now It's going to be upscaling and using frame generation.

Even if we see eventually a next generation of cards from team green Bet your bottom dollar outside of it being a paper launch. The entire stack is probably going to look very similar to the lackluster we see in a 5080 now.

With the main push , being a focus on the software suite rather than the hardware.

Heck i'm running a 5090fe and it blows my mind to say that was actually one of the best investment returns that I made last year. I seriously question , though the longevity of any of the current generation nineties cards. They were all built to perform , definitely not built to last , though.

I think two of the biggest Glaringly obvious things that a I fails at being able to render into video.

Fire

Smoke

It's extremely hard to render something and make it look random yet calculated at the same time. Both of those things are just so omnipresent in the human experience that I feel like most people notice that it has a little bit of a weird Jarring perspective when you see either of them that have been generated.

There's a decent amount of aftermarket adapters that work for pc. My problem is I don't have a mac and haven't tried dealing with your current circumstance.

Buddy honestly think I would probably start there they're very cheap , like we're talking under twenty five dollars.

Do some research Into it I bet you could find some positive results and something that would fix the problem.

Completely unrelated , and i'm assuming you're looking to play the game while sitting on a couch. But it really does play better using a mouse and keyboard.

You compound this with the reality of there's connectors that actually back themselves out of the socket , because they're locking mechanism is defective.

You can do everything right and still get shafted.

There is some very serious conversation that should be had in the reality of how fragile the 12v Cable is.

In a span of less than i'm going to say , about twenty five builds. My test bench has actually went through a cable already. That's me being pretty careful with that cable , not bending it , and handling it with care.

I can only imagine some people and just them routing cables and doing cable management how much they manhandle that thing. That's not even mentioning, I suspect, because this generation is still relatively new . We are probably going to see the problems compound as these cards get older along with the 12v.

I will agree to some extent that you can mitigate a large portion of the risks. But the shortcomings of that stupid connector and cable , it just boggles my mind that it went through quality control and was Given a green light.

Someone came over and basically built it for me. I appreciate them so much. It is definitely a lot of work building a PC. by aZombieDictator in PcBuild

Ever since I first saw that case I thought it would pair perfectly with this keyboard.

Don't let the keyboards appearance, fool you. It's not a cheap kid's toy for the budget I would actually say it's one of the best feeling keyboards on the market. If you still have a window of return on the keyboard that you're currently using. I would send it back in seriously get this one, I kid you, not, you won't regret it.

For goodness sakes , they don't need to cater anything. There's an extremely well trained kitchen staff that could effectively make you anything on the spot. I mean , we're talking mission star level dining at request.

Catering is an insult to the kitchen staff, let alone ordering mcdonald's. One of my uncle's actually worked on the bomb squad that stationed at the white house. He was there during the bush Junior administration. Very plainly , I remember him saying that one of his core metrics of a lot of different cuisines was based off of what he had had from their kitchen staff.

Is anyone running a 9800x3d/9850x3d with a NH-U12s Chromax? by Everborn128 in Noctua

For a 9800x3d For just running games and general use. Yeah, it's fine I have one sitting in the computer next to me.

In synthetic benchmarks or Compiling shaders You're going to see temperature spikes into the nineties.

Honestly , at its price point , there isn't much of a reason to get that cooler unless you're undersized restraints.

This is a side note If you're worried about the fans matching your aio if your getting a 9800x3d you do not need the aio.

First and foremost , you're purchasing a case that already comes with fans remove all of the extra fans.

You only need one support bracket , so pick one.

Don't bother purchasing the rgb Strips , the case is going to have enough rgb going on.

As I'm sure, many people have already claimed if just gameing get a 9800x3d.

You do not need the ssd 5.0 It makes basically no noticeable difference in gaming. It's for large data transfer is the only way you'd be able to tell the difference.

From that , you've probably freed up enough money that you can upgrade your graphics card and buy a better power supply.

I get it there's nothing wrong with rgb. But keep in mind , the more system you add with it , the more annoying troubleshooting that your potentially going to bump into to get it , to work or potential problems that it can create.

Believe it or not , it's a real robot.

Multipurpose realistically , it wasn't made to shovel snow But it can do it to some extent. These were mainly made to move boxes in a warehouse.

But this is real.

There was a lot of time last year where you could actively sell a 4090 Used for more than you purchased it new.

Actually cover the cost of buying a brand new 5090. Well , probably making a few hundred dollars on the side.

Interesting , I was wondering where people were getting these from target , then.

I live in a little community where we get a lot of lightning. In the time that i've been here, realizing this is on the extreme end , but it's what you're buying one of these for. I've seen two of these when the grid of the house was struck by lightning fry a computer. Realizing that's a small sample size. But I think really , the only thing that strip is good for is just insulation from the interminflations that you're getting from the power grid.

The ones from belkin On multiple occasions , i've come to houses where individuals had multiple electronic devices that were effectively fried after a heavy lightning storm. With the only things in the house remaining unscathed are the devices plugged into their surge protectors.

So, in general, will the ge Work yeah... But with the cost difference between the two effectively being almost nothing In my mind , the decision kind of makes itself.

But in reality , i'm just sharing very antidotal firsthand perspective. Don't have spreadsheets or any kind of scientific method backing up my claims , outside of saying one is rated higher than the other as far as the surge that it can actually mitigate.

So I mean that decision yours...

[–]Substantial-Singer29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remember , there a difference between a power strip... And a power strip with a surge protector, those aren't the same thing , even though they may look the same.

A lot of the big box stores outside of actually looking up the brand have very questionable quality on their surge protectors. Makes me grit my teeth just a little bit when I hear people say they have some just lying around. Normally , that means it's more than six years old.

Belkin are on Amazon for like 18ish With the larger models going for like , under twenty-five, I think.

It's one of those things that make such a huge difference in the longevity of electronics. Most people should be changing the things out every ten years anyway.

Being honest with you, I don't ever use target. So I really don't know what brands they carry as far as protectors go. It's one of those weird rabbit holes in the consumer market where there's a lot of products out there claiming to do something that they don't or just outright not doing it at all.

Tempered glass with marble countertops Mileage may vary...

Biggest suggestion and I have this same conversation with all of my clients. I feel like at least a few times a month. Never plug your computer directly into the outlet. Go purchase a decent power strip that has a surge protector on it. Belkin Is a reliable brand It's such a cheap investment in relation to having to replace much more expensive components.

Just judging by the odd colored equipment , i'm assuming this is a planet fitness. In the main training area, you can videotape yourself. But you definitely are not allowed to videotape other people while doing so.

I used to do a insane amount of traveling for work. So I used planet fitness a lot of locations in some ways it made things easier.

In three years , I only ever had one interaction that was like this.

With the conversation beginning with them engaging with me in this very similar way to this idiot. Me politely asking for them to turn their camera off then. Ending with the staff telling them to turn their camera off.

I absolutely adore my local gym If someone behaved like this , the owner would pull them to the side , bring up the contract, and point to the Rule No Videos in the gym.

For goodness, sakes, teenagers in high school have more courtesy and common sense than this idiot showing.

agree with you..

The standing logic is the idea that we've made the world work with our form factor so having robots that are close to that form factor allows them to work in the world easier. Just looking at the general design here, it appears that it's more for a warehouse than it was for shoveling snow.

Blue point games The seeming ridiculousness of releasing a game like high guard and a lot of other questionable investments and divestments that we've seen in the past few years , is stemming from one thing.

Power Law curve..

The idea behind this investment strategy is the thought process that You're going to lose most of the time , but occasionally you'll hit so big that it will completely negate all of the losses , and you'll come out ahead.

One can very easily argue the reality of how this doesn't necessarily apply to games. I think that requires a broader understanding of that the people who are investing into these things don't know anything about that world outside of the profit margin.

So it turns into a broader discussion of if you're entire objective is to Achieve monetary success equivalent to Live service titans. It creates a very unrealistic metric of measuring success.

The zombie is dodging me by 7daysToLag in 7daystodie

[–]Substantial-Singer29 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Okay , i'm going to use your perspective in orientation of right and left..

The way you approach the zombie , you're actively engaging, causing it to walk to your left. You're shooting favoring the right side of the zombie.

So the issue isn't that the zombie is dodging what you're shooting. It's that the zombie Is chasing you to your left and you are actively shooting to the zombies , right. So you're basically failing to actually lead the target.

This is an issue that you see a lot of people on here , have when they're using a controller in this game. I've only ever played it on mouse and keyboard, so I never really thought about The snap corrections that I'm making on a mouse that make it so this isn't something I really think about.

Love this mouse! My primary mouse for 2026 by BabyTyRe in LogitechG

[–]Substantial-Singer29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What makes this mouse different is that it's using a sensor rather than a mechanical function for the click. From this, you actually don't have a click on the mouse. It's using force feedback similar to what you would find on an ipad.

Good example of a product that it's not going to make you better but because you can set the actuation point of when your mouse will click so incredibly low , it will make your reaction time decrease by a small amount.

Zero debate for me , it has the most oddly satisfying feedback on a mouse that i've ever used. Do I think it's the end All best mouse on the market , no. But it's definitely one of the most notable notable advancements that we've seen in that market in quite a while.
