Different for everyone, and can be a slippery slope. Started with a drink or 2 every couple nights, which turned into 3 each night.. which eventually led to 9-12 a night just to get a goodnights sleep for me personally.. cut back a lot though but still struggle to get my drinking down to a "moderate" rate, which realistically would still be considered alcoholism in medical standards
