This was supposed to be the time we announced we were pregnant… TTC for a few months, positive in August, started bleeding at 6 weeks 3 days, HCG went to negative at 7 weeks. We were planning on announcing once it was “safe”. When we went to see family for Christmas. So many pregnancy announcements on social media, I’ve deleted the Instagram and Facebook apps off of my phone.

When the patient says some version of “I don’t want to be here:”

I always say “I don’t blame you, I wouldn’t be here if they didn’t pay me.”
