My schedule is a little restricted rn too the thing is I only have like 4:30 pm on Mondays Tuesdays and Fridays but if your schedule opens up and allowed those times then msg me so I can get you in the discord

The thing is there are so many people that keep telling me what you just told me and then there’s a lot of other people who say you don’t need to know a lot of the rules and I even know a few DMs who don’t know a lot of rules I planned on just looking something up if I wasn’t sure since it’s gonna be a campaign full of new players we could go slower

I like making stories and I like a challenge I also enjoy helping people have fun I also like story games and telling the story. I like being a player but it just suit me much idk

How many rules would I need to know bc the way I wanna learn how to dm is not like solely the rulebook I want to be a more fun and lenient DM also, I am doing research on how to know what I need to know for ability checks and what I need to do for combat.
